How to get to the island of Vis

The only way to arrive on island Vis and to get to "Dionis" is by ferry. There are two

boat/ferry companies - "Jadronlinija" and "SEM" from the town Split.

During the summer season it is also possible to arrive on Vis from Italy, bY ferry boats

"SEM" that usually leave from Ancona, Italy and also there are fast catamarans "SNAV"

agency that leave from two different cities from Italy, Pescara and Guilianova.

As these timetables change during the summer season we recommend that you check the schedules in advance.

Bad & breakfast and pizza-bar "Dionis" are located in the immediate centre of the city of Vis, about 300 metres from the ferry quay. During July and August the main seafront in the centre is closed for traffic, but there is parking available just out of the centre. In these cases our staff can accommodate your needs, as they will organise transport from the ferry to your parking spot and back to the appartments.
